This reminds me of the old push mowers with the wind up starters. You young folks will have to use your google machine to find out. The old farts will know what one is. No, I haven't cross the old fart line yet...well depends on who you ask.
I was only ever associated with one--on my Grampa's mower. I detested that thing. You'd wind it for what seemed like hours, and it would "ku-pheck, ough..........fuh" and then you'd have to start over. Maybe that one was week I don't know. It was on a Jacobson mower, expensive in it's day. I believe it was self propelled
