My wife is on Ancestry.com and she's traced both of our sides but to the 14 century.
Her side was in charge of Bamburgh Castle in the U.K. for 14 generations. We went through the castle last time were there. It was very interesting. She saw pictures of her ancestors hanging on the wall. Maybe some of them were hanging on the gallows also lol.
