Does anybody here have a set of Pacesetter part # 70-2213 headers on a 94-01 Ram. I need a couple of measurements. All I can find online are a couple of generic pictures that are really no help.

I am wanting bigger than 1 5/8 tubes for my 67 Sweptline. The Pacesetters have 1 3/4 tubes which will better suit my stroker. They are also a decent price.

I want to use my stock dash mount cable shifter, so I need to know a couple of measurements to see if it might clear.

Thanks for any help you can give.

Your going to use a factory dash mounted shifter with a manual reverse valve body?

By the way I have a dash mounted cable shifter out of a Dodge motor home. It looks like the old Dodge truck dash mount.

Yes, I ran it like that before. I took a dremel to the shift plate, and if you put a slight amount of pressure to the right on the 1-2 shift it stops solid. then pull over to the left and slap down for the 2-3 shift. Works really well...

I looked on the For Trucks Only forum, as well as swepline.org and found no info...only for shorty headers.

Here is a picture from summit of the headers.

With that piece gone off each side of the frame won't a set of car headers fit that truck?

Yeah. I have a lot of room now. I have a set of truck headers, but I would like 1 3/4- 1 7/8 tubes.

And, they need to be cheap!

I have a pair of 3" flow masters that were given to me a few years ago, along with a little bit of 3" pipe. I should be able to cobble up a decent exhaust and turn down before the axle.
If I have too, I can use the truck headers for a while. I just want to let the 414 breath....

What measurements are you needing? I have a second gen ram, but not with the Pacesetters. I also know a few guys with these headers on their 2nd gens.

Mainly, how much space between the block and the header tubes, and, how close does it come to the front of the trans by the starter mounting area. My shift cable will have to snake through there.

I'll see what I can come up with.

Ok, thanks! Even if you could just get a look to see if it looks like a cable could slide through, and not be too close or touch. I will try to get a pic of where it goes to on the trans and post it tomorrow.

I went out and looked again, with a flashlight. the shift cable goes through the circled area.

I think they will clear the frame rail, red arrow.

I think they may be worth a try.

DNA motoring used to make a knock off set and may still make them. I also am not sure if they are 1 3/4" headers or not, but they were cheaper.
