I remember reading a different article that said basically the same thing. Also, if you look at that picture I posted of the full broadside shot, there is not one ripple on the "back" side of the ship. Not one. So I think that confirms it doesn't move. Looking at the gun side, it certainly appears like it, but I think that's just the percussion from the muzzle blasts. Those guns shoot a 2700 pound shell at 2500 FPS. Read that again. And again. LMAO PLUS they can hit their target from 25 miles away. That's like throwing an A body 25 miles and hittin what you're aimin at.......and they did it with NINETEEN FORTYS technology. Simply amazing I say.
PLUS ......LOL.......they could fire TWO rounds per minute. Simply incredible for a 2700 pound shell.
