Damper Disappointment

I've actually had this damper on the car a few years. I assume the outer ring has slipped. First time checking with a piston stop. Will mark TDC
& check again for movement. If so
will replace.

OK that makes a lot more sense that it moved, vs coming straight from the factory being 20° off.

Still a poor product if it has moved 20°
