Damper Disappointment

I've actually had this damper on the car a few years. I assume the outer ring has slipped. First time checking with a piston stop. Will mark TDC
& check again for movement. If so
will replace.

Make sure that you mark both the inner and outer for TDC that way you can tell if the outer slips further.
