Looking at an E body 70 challenger

-
I did not, are they usually there?

I wouldn't go as far as to say "usually". On occasion they have been taped to the back of the glove box. There are other random places to find them as well but not near as typical as in the seats or behind the glove box.

Thanks!
Do you know if Is g the correct size or H?
the Serivie manual says "F" actually

Someone, maybe the PO probably changed to 15" wheels. Not too long ago 14" tires got really scarce. I'd leave to with 15" wheels & find some F or G 70 15" tires & drive it like it was stolen. LOL

I believe I read that road wheels came in 14 inch and 15 inch in 1970 somewhere I have to find out where

Congrats on your purchase. The challengers and cudas are awesome cars to drive and race! They ride and handle great. Don't get me wrong, I have a slew of a bodies and love them too but I splurged on a 71 rt recently and totally fell in love with it.
Plenty of upgrades and oem parts available. Do what you want with it just keep all the original parts. Mine is a #s car too but I am building it the way I want it and gonna enjoy it for a long time.
You got a good deal and hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

If you're going to get the Goodyear Polyglas GT's, I think E-60/15's would be the right ones. If you decide to just put regular tires like T/A Radials....235-60/15 is about the same size as an E 60/15. My 71 Challenger conv has 275-60/15's on the back, and 245-60/15's on the front.

have a pic of yours? they probably look really good!

Sometimes wheels are coded on the tag.

Yeah, I would keep the 15's as well. Mine came with 14's But, I will probably change them out.
You are going to have a heart attack when you see what original 15" ralley wheels are going for, the last set I seen for sale was $800.
My Challenger also came with 14", which are still on the car, but I got lucky and my cousin sold me a set of 15" cheap...He did not know what he had.

Where are the dates on the 15 inch wheels wanna see if original

And the hood. I would keep it. Seems like most have the scoops. I like the flat hood.
