Seems like my 68 Dart is going to need front floor pans but AMD only seems to sell the Full floor pan or entire LH or RH side front to back. Going to have my body guy take a look at the car today or tomorrow so he can confirm what sections he wants me to buy but has anyone tried ABS? I found the sections that I think I need at a decent price (idk how much shipping will be yet) but I wanted to know if anyone here strongly discourages the company, I don't want to have to spend a fortune on labor trying to get ill fitting panels to fit, but I am also not going for a 100% correct show car, the floor will be covered in carpet once the metal is done.
These are the links for what I am looking at

If that's all you need to repair the floor, it will be fine.
I used a panel similar to that on my Dart Sport driver's side, and it worked out well.
Unless you are doing the full side, I would use these type of repair pans to save money especially on a driver that you need to make solid.
I got an AMD full driver's side for my '69 Valiant because it needed the full driver's side, and the passenger side was perfect.
The AMD panel fits almost perfectly, And that might be a factor if you are farming the work out.
I do my own work and welding, so my time means nothing when it comes to overall price..........

Check out my build thread at the link below my post for installation of a similar pan that you are considering if you have any doubt.

We're all not doing concours restos!

I used their Early A front floor pans and right rear paN for my 65 Dart. Very pleased with the fit and look of the pans. I would definitely use them again.

I got the rear floor sections from them for Vixen. They went in good. The installation starts on page 9. I had to add strips of scrap sheet metal on both sides in the front of the pans because my rust extended further than the pans went. That wasn't the pans fault, I just had more rust. But it's all fixed now.

1964 Valiant "Get Runnin & Drivin"

Actually, the installation begins on page 11.

I ordered a RR floor pan from them for my '66 Valiant. Took a couple of weeks for the package to arrive. I then found that they sent me a LR, not a RR. Took over 3 more weeks to get them to send me the correct one. The product was fine, but, maybe because of the quarantine, they were very SLOOOOWWW to respond.

Must be covid. I didn't have that problem, although I did order mine separately, because I couldn't afford both at the same time, it took only like a week to get them.

I will say this......It "I" can put floor pan panels in, anybody can, so don't let that deter any of you from doing it. Spot welding is easy and that's all it takes.

I can stick 2 pieces of metal together with some weld but I have never done anything resembling the type of welding a floor pan would need. I don't mind learning new things and I am not afraid to make a mistake but I figured that the car already has crash damage which will need a frame machine and a trained eye to fix, so I might as well have the body guy take care of the floor pans too. What might take me a month to figure out will take him maybe a day to finish
Thanks for all the input guys!! If I need any panels larger than what I linked then I will buy from AMD but if that is all I need now I feel confident I can get it from ABS

I have used their parts many times over the years. I always buy AMD when I can but dont recall ever having any issues with their panels. I just put in a ABS outer rocker panel on a friends GMC 3500 box truck. Fit like a glove and the part was dirt cheap.
Stay clear of floor pans that have the slits cut in the corners. They dont fit well and are harder to do a clean install.
