Cool just know a guy from town who bought a new and I mean new t/a challenger back in the day he had lots of grief with it but that was 40 plus years ago
My two older brothers had the six pack set up on their 440s.
They worked well as long as you kept them stock and didn't dink around with the factory settings.
We followed the adjustments by the book, and didn't try foolish settings like making the linkage fully manual or stuff like that.
We just adjusted the jetting slightly for the bigger than stock cams and headers, and they performed great.
In fact, a friend of mine had a 440+6 69 1/2 Road Runner 4 speed that was all stock except a Hughes cam and headers that he adjusted the carbs to stock as for jetting, linkage, etc. and it worked really well.
I don't have any experience with the 340 6 pack engine though, but the 440s were great, and I can't see them being much different if at all as long as you use good premium gas.........
