Any alternatives to Legendary/P.U.I. to order factory replacement seat covers??
Specifically for 67’ Dart with black vinyl front buckets & rear bench.

I bought the legendary covers from Dante's. While I was looking around I did see a guy on eBay listing several covers he was offering made by him from near look alike materials at about 2/3 the price.
Next guess would be if JC Whitney still offers slip covers.
You may want to pay for the Legendary in the long run, I did and no regrets.

X2. Cheap isn't good and good isn't cheap. Those covers will be the last ones you replace on that car.

I installed some on a 76 camaro that fit really nice...the brand name was distinctive industries...first I heard of them and not sure where the owner got them...

I would second the idea about ordering from Dante's. Dante sells the Legendary covers but they are cheaper than if if you buy them direct from Legendary. Don't try to go the cheap route on your seat covers if you can help it.

it’s not the price that I’m trying to avoid, there’s a horrendous wait for them. I actually already purchased, and paid for the full set from PUI, a few months ago and still waiting. They now say it may be next year some time as they have difficulty getting the materials to manufacture them. I called legendary and they claim to have the same problem. That’s fine and I don’t wish to "brand bash" anybody, however I know the material are very attainable and somebody, somewhere out there is sewing up a set as we speak lol, and I’d like to buy them!

Try a wanted ad might get lucky a member might have what you want. I have legendary interior that I’ve had sitting around 13 years lol.

My wifes employer builds specialized bags for EMS, military, etc... Could be for a piece of equipment, trauma kit, whatever. I have to say I was absolutely amazed at the materials, complexity, and quality workmanship that goes into a small bag that contains nothing but a tourniquet and a pair of gloves. Anyway...
They have experienced production/delivery delays due to back orders in the supply chain, Thread, binding, zipper pulls, one thing after another. Some mfgrs will not substitute lesser grade materials in their products. Others simply cannot. Sooo, they have spent several weeks building samples from old stock materials, bottling hand sanitizer, whatever keeps them doing something 40 hrs per week. The one thing she hasn't done is produce face masks. At one point she thought she might but management found there are plenty of shops doing that.
I personally wouldn't want seat covers, a mattress, or anything else built from whatever materials they could get their hands on, regardless of discounted price. That practice can remain in China.
One more thing... about 8 years ago, the one item for my 67 notchback interior that I didn't buy from Legendary or Year One was the headliner. It came from Ebay in a PUI box. When I pulled it from the box to install it, I found the front bow sleeve a good 2 inches forward from where it belonged. Project came to a screeching halt. Called Legendary and they said about 2 weeks. Called Year One and they had it produced and drop shipped from the mfgr to my front door in 3 days. That was a long time ago and maybe PUI has their chit together today. Good luck
