One thing I did notice just a few minutes ago when I walk to the garage and was looking at the kart... I pushed down on the choke lever and it went about almost 1/2 inch?.. now that leaves me thinking is that the one second extra on those final laps with the new gear?..
Sounds like it needs more fuel. You can't mess with the carb cab you? Or is it just internal engine parts you can't mess with? We never did run box stock stuff so I'm not as familiar with the rules.
