Be aware that the speedometer port is at a strange angle, something like a 10:30 position angling up toward the floorpan. If you don't have a 90 degree adapter, the speedo cable is kinked and hitting the floorpan.
 
Can this be installed without removing the transmission mounting. What I mean to say is, can this be installed with the transmission in place and just removing the driveshaft, the tail-shaft and maybe the exhaust to access? This is on a 73 scamp with a RB and PYPES x-pipe.
 
Just spoke to Gear Vendors re: swapping the A727 adapter for an A904. They will not swap it. I would have to purchase the A904 adapter for $750 plus a $250 core charge. The core charge is returned when they receive the A727 adapter. I have to pass on this.
