Ok, so this is going to be my full restoration tread. I recently got my car in the shop and instantly got to working on it. I will be uploading part one on YouTube soon. I was wondering if anyone knows the best website to find history on the car from the vin number. If you know a website please tell me because this car doesn’t seem to be all original. So with saying that I will keep you updated on the build on this thread here.

You’ll get a lot more information from the body tag or broadcast sheet than you would from the VIN in regards to how it was built.

So I just uploaded part 1 on YouTube!

Hahah saw your videos on YouTube, wasn’t expecting to find you here on FABO as well but welcome, good luck with the car!

Do what you can and it will be SWEET. DEMONS RULE

This is good stuff.

What Color is the original color??

Almost looks like A4 gunmetal grey to me. A4 gunmetal grey like most silvers will erode off the car as it fades and then leave a nice coat of surface rust. Especially here in the desert.

So I just uploaded part 1 on YouTube!

Wow I guess I kind of forgot about this thread lol. Sorry guys. I might not sure if anyone will even see this but I’ll post the links to the videos I’ve made on youtube since and that sums it up pretty good. If you want to follow the restoration better just subscribe to my YouTube because I post on there a lot more!

I thought I had a thread under this tab already but honestly I’m not the best with this site and don’t know how to find it again. But besides that I’ll use this one for now! Just the last weekend we finished getting the 72 Demon completely primed. We’ve been sanding the highbuild for the last few days now. I’ll link the video to the primer video and if you want, check out my other videos to see the car from the start! I’ve got a few videos from the restoration and if you want to see the next videos be sure to subscribe. Hopefully we can get it painted very soon!
