Anyone know anything about PTC and weather or something in Muscle Shoals Alabama?? Trying to call them and the recording says it’s a bad number. Checked it 3 times so I know I’m dialing it correctly.

TIA

Performance Torque Converters are a reputable company. I haven't used them - Yet! I have been price checking with them.
1-256-383-6868 Actually, just got of the phone with her

Looks like their web site is still up and pretty current. Are you calling the number plastered on their home page?

Yep. That’s why I was thinking I heard about some bad weather down there or something.

Guess I can email them. I hate email.
Did you even read my post ? I was the first one to post, and I said I just got of the phone with her, as in like 10 minutes ago!! I gave the number as well! :BangHead::BangHead:

How did you get through???? I’m going to dial it again.

I’ve used quite a few PTC’s and loved every one of them.

The current one I have is a 9.5 case with a 9.5 stator and it’s a 3500.

I’m old enough to remember when that size converter was “race” only and would stall at 5500!!

Converters have come a long way.

My wife now says her phone will get through. Maybe my flip phone is finally going to die, and then it’s back to a land line.

See post 6. I think my phone is JUNK. Which ain’t a bad thing.
I read post 4, where u responded to RRR, said you was going to email and you hate email. LOL. Now read the thread right, from top to bottom, not bottom to top! What's so wonder you can't get through, you probably dialed backwards!!!!!

I used one in my 65. It was a 9.5 as well. It drove great on the street and would flash to like 4250 when you hemmed it up.

DIAL. Wholly crap are you calling her from the Harvest Gold wall phone in my kitchen hanging on the wall. Cheese and rice son step into the 20th century. Lol.

I have a PTC 9.5 that came from John Cope. It’s a 3500 stall that will flash to 4100 or a little more. Pulls strong the whole quarter mile. I like it. I would buy 1 again. Kim

Ok, got through. Has to use the wife’s iPhone. For some reason my phone would not connect that number.

Those guys at PTC are awesome to deal with.

IDK...I’m real old school. The phone doesn’t need to hang on the wall, but it SHOULD a have a cord hooked to it!!! LOL

I think my dad had the last rotary phone in Pittsburgh. Still kept it after the phone company told him the phone lines wouldn’t support it any more. Used to ask him if was saving it for the zombie apocalypse

My youngest son took a nutty one night and smash mine. Lol

Dang those things are tough too! Dad’s was the table top one, of course black. He was a pretty basic kind of guy with stuff like that, came from being a Chainman in the mill.

For the converters I’ve heard great things about PTC. I picked up a 9 inch from Dynamic Racing Transmissions for my stroker. Flashes to 4300 and pretty happy with it.
