Interesting...never seen something like that. I just call voice provisioning and tell them to enable pulse dial and they work. Usually its on a new install but its pretty standard practice to enable both pulse and tone dial on the account when they build it. It may vary in other locations. As for your land line not connecting and your cell phone getting that number to go through has to do with your long distance carrier on your land line. They use different trunks to get out and your land line LD trunk may be out or PIC not programmed (long distance carrier ID). Sorry to admit but land lines are really antiquated when it comes to convenience. Everyone has a cell nowadays, and they are always on your person. If you live in the sticks, land line all the way but that's about the only advantage on a consumer level. Just give me 14 more years......
