I listen to the V8 symphony in my car. It's my favorite tune...
Exactly. My AM radio in my 66 hasn't worked since I bought it 15 years ago. I like hearing the 273 rattling under the hood.

My E body has a newer stereo in it with a small amp and, bluetooth and, all that stuff but between between the 512 c.i. and, the whiney rearend you cant really hear it anyway so, i dont even bother. Over the winter the rearend will be addressed and then maybe i will listen to it...

I put a usb stereo in my jeep. You could hide it, put 6 x9 s in the factory spots, hide tweeters somewhere, and just use the remote. I have about 400 of my favorite songs in audiophile quality on one stick. I think there is room for about 1,000 songs, depending on size. Only you would know...

I have had a performance car during most of my driving life since 1969, and not a one of them ever had a working radio. I did, however, install and 8-track player in my first performance car, in 1970, to play the two tapes I had; whenever the car was stopped, lol; Beatles of course. Eventually, I added a couple more; Kenny Rogers, was one,CCR another, but that's all I recall.

My parents bought me a cheap 8 track for my '69 cuda when I graduated high school. My good friend who donated his hood pins from his 70 six pack 'cuda made me the soundtrack from the movie Easyrider. Played that thing until the head adjuster no longer compensated for the stretched out tape.

My first car was a 49 Chevy, the old radio did not work. When it wore out, a 64 Ford Custom post car came along and it had a working radio. As an Ag student in college, I had a 68 1/2 t. Ford pickup am radio and 8 track!!!!! and probably 4-5 tapes!!
Then when my first performance car came along, I just wanted to hear the engine and listen to it go waaaaaaaaa!!!! Been that way every since.

I am so old I don't want to even listen to music these days!!!!
Country music? Is Willy still kicking!!??? LOL

Listen to Luke Combs if you like country. He's a big ol redneck homie from where we live. The kid never picked up a guitar until he was 21....and now he's the hotest thing going in country!

There weren't a lot of AM choices out in the desert and FM was non-existent out there, unless you had the home stereo receiver hooked up to the TV cable. Luckily the R&R station from over the hill was powerful enough. That kept us informed on the impending Nitro match races coming to SoCal. 64 FUNNY CARS! SATURDAY NIGHT ORANGE COUNTY INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY! BEEE THERRRE! :D
