Just found this sub-forum! Spent the last few days looking through the last 10 pages. Some great stuff for sure.
I purchased a 1969 RHD Barracuda here in the UK a few months ago. I created a thread on it in another sub-forum not realising this one was here and had a lot of great help identifying the year ( I was told it was a 1967) Just a rolling shell and a spare Trunk Lid.
Another member here did some sleuth work and found a 10 year old advertisement for it that allowed me to trace the ebay seller. I contacted him and amazingly he responded and managed to track down the buyer who believe it or not still had most of the missing parts stored.
Getting the parts off of the guy proved to be quite dificult and took a few months for me to actually get my hands on them. Id all but given up hope of getting them till he called me outta the blue and said they need gone that day, send him the cash and he'll have them delivered.
Whilst waiting for the guy with the parts to actually part with them I managed to track down a RHD Dash Frame and Cluster from another RHD Barracuda plus a complete RHD Wiring Loom and a few other goodies.
Ive also managed to have two new quarter panels shipped over from the UK. A AMD L/H/S panel as it was on offer, and a more generic R/H/S panel, the brand I forget, but having looked on here for reviews its certainly not as good as the AMD version but the price reflects this.
First plan is to continue stripping it down, as its 90% already done and get media blasted to see what actually needs replaced. Looking forward to getting started.
