Pulling engine from A108 but stuck!

I decided to go for it and pull the engine from my 1969 A108 Van. I read in the service manual to drop it from the bottom with the tranny attached. Now I'm stuck! The tranny will not drop from the rear support after removing the bolt. It seems like there is a bushing holding it in place! What do you suggest?
1) Re-attach engine mounts and try to drop tranny by itself?
2) Remove radiator and fan and try rocking engine/tranny as one unit to break it free from the rear bushing?
3) Re-attach engine mounts, drop tranny by itself then pull engine from passenger side door?

Currently all the doghousing/shroud is removed from around the engine in the van except the front piece with the radiator.

Ideas??
