Recommendations for a fuel sender rebuilders/restorers
take some 35g nickle-ferrite resistance wire (NiFe) and rewrap the resistance loop. you can check your resistance from a new one and then figure out your length. Also you can mic the existing wire and count the turns. Use the end of a brass nail for the new sweeper contactor if needed ....Or find a NOS sender in the correct resistance, not that easy! this guys wire was Kanthal A1 0.15mm resistance wire at 88ohms a metre for reference.
