I’m looking for a set of decent valve covers for a ‘73 340. I think they are the same as 318 and 360 for that year. Rust and grime is fine. Dents and wasted bolt flanges are not. Prefer local pickup (CT, RI, eastern MA) but will pay shipping if I need to. Thanks in advance!
 
Backordered at least through Summit. I’d prefer used anyway as this engine will be going for sale.
 
Close but no cigar. I have those... and a bunch of other choices but no “right” ones. The EBay ones are the earlier 80s V8 covers. I’m trying to assemble a “correct” ‘73 340.
 
If you're going to sell the motor, the next owner just might dress it up with something else; don't you think?
 
They might. But it’s to be listed as a stock type deal and I’d prefer the right stuff be on there.
