Swapped my Porsche 911 to this built Duster.

Car specs:
2x Holley 450s
MSD Ignition
Edelbrock heads
Tunnel Ram
Comp Cam XE285
Wiseco 10:1 pistons
Eagle steel crank
4000 Stall converter
Super Stock rear suspension
Locked rear differential
Milodo oil pump

Already loving how the car just works, but still has potential for a lot of mods.

And me:
25 years old computer guy who's into cars on my free time. Already built one turbo Porsche 924 from NA model utilizing megasquirt (the red one in front of the duster).

Plans on the car:
Modernize what I can and keep the car running.
- Not a big fan of the carbs. Trying to figure out the best way to do EFI conversion. Maybe mega, but the plug n play nature of Sniper EFI seems cool.
- Rewire most electric things. There are a lot of electric tape/shady connections/not working stuff.
- Heater is currently just one button that turns some weak *** fan on and blows a little warm air to windshield. Gotta figure out what's going on with that because it's cold here in Finland.

I Dig it
Welcome to the Forum.
I Changed most electrical loads to relays. Got an underhood Fuse/Relay block from the scrapyard & mounted it under the dash straight wired from the Alt. High beam, Low beam, Horn, Ignition position circuits, Acc position circuits each on their own relays triggered by their respective switch. I put the actual Ignition system (HEI), & voltage regulator on a 40 amp relay triggered by a separate toggle switch.
I also picked up an under dash fuse block & split the 5 glass fused loads (1968 car) to 12 modern blade fuse circuits. Now I need to convert a 5' X 5' cardboard wiring diagram down to paper size.
I do plan to have an extinguisher handy when I finally do power everything up.
My plan is to go with Holley Sniper Stealth to keep the carb look. HEI is "hidden" up under the distributor.
