God bless the United States of America I’m thankful to have been born in the greatest country ever and to have served this great nation 1975-78 101st airborne screaming eagle. And thanks to my brothers and sisters who served. I’m proud to be an American!
 
Don't forget the home front either Military family's went through a lot, at least mine did 6 years away and mom dealt with it, she is a keeper. No idea how she did it. the job was easy you kind of knew what to expect, life with kids not so much.

Absolutely, and kids don't come with directions or warranty

I did not, but grew up across the street from an Air Force base and have many friends and family that did.
