1970 -1972 A body Rear “Bell” Brake Drums

Thanks, please put me first in line.

Here is what I have found. I wired wheel one of them and there is no discard measurement that I can find anywhere. I agree that there usually is one . It’s usually casted into the drum but I see nothing. All the drums I have ever seen have been between .060 and .090 is the Max. I took these to a shop and they measured them for me and this is what I have found. One drum is .043 out and the other is .047 out. These could be turned at least one more time and maybe even two times as long as somebody does not hog them out in one pass so they can go to lunch.
I don’t want to wire wheel the second drum because the paint pattern is so nice and clear that if somebody is doing a true factory restoration this one has a nice original pattern and color.
This is the best I can do.....I have done everything that I can so there you go!! LOL!!55E4CE5E-ED44-4950-9B22-1AC6DF8B4E0C.jpegC5BECDBA-F170-4AE0-A036-10FE54159B8B.jpeg7011F61B-2188-4C0C-B1CE-59EEB813E631.jpeg3FF5F751-7393-44EB-A0B0-43345F7AC1C9.jpeg
