I am getting ready to swap my slant 6 for a 360 Magnum and found out the company that make the spooled motor mounts is no longer in business. Where do I get the motor mounts now. I have a 1975 "K" member.

Try this email to contact Schumaker Creative Services

I think that is the company he is referring too. There has been some postings about Schumaker's business sustainability even before Covid.

I'd put up a wanted add for a V8 K and mounts or see if someone has a set of spool /6 to 360 swap mount.

Schumacher is out of business. I believe Trans-Dapt bought them out.

Would these work?
Engine Conversion and Replacement Kit

I thought there was a post about Mancini having some deal coming up.

Except they are out of stock and Schumaker was the only fabricator. Right now you'd have a better chance at getting a LS swap kit.....

Just found this post , dated sept 2020

Lower it into the bay and find out where spool mounts need to be welded in. Model em out of cardboard and tape and have a hitch shop fab up your mock up or a welding buddy. I'd attempt that before spending $170 on 2 motor mounts that may not even fit. I paid 150 for 351C mounts to be welded onto a 57 Fords Y block mount. What I ended up with was 2 metal boxes stick welded to the cross member. Hell, I could have done that!

^^Those are not what he is looking for.^^ He wants "swap" mounts which are special aftermarket mounts that fit the slant six K frame, and adapts to a V8 engine. The K frame has different mounting ears between slant six engins and small block V8

I've sent multiple emails to that address with no response. I know they are dealing with his wife's illness, but he runs a business. He should put something out there.
