What did I just witness here?

And I guess it lives up to the name. It gets the purists Pissed Off.

 i don't know how many "purists" there are commenting. and i'm sure not PO'd. i think it's awesome someone has the coin to buy a car like that. and i don't begrudge the shops doing the hi end builds, because i like the eye candy too, and seeing everyone's ideas. and getting ideas from theirs. the first time i saw this car a few years ago i thought it was pretty kick ***. and i still do, but as a design study, not as a car i want to drive. and if a car doesn't make me want to drive it, it's not very useful as a car to me.
guess i'm just getting tired of everything needing to have a killer name for the build, with the requisite articles of how bitchin' and unique it is, (even though it isn't, really), and only seeing the car in a photo shoot instead of getting driven. that build is 7 or 8 years old and i wouldn't doubt it's still on the first set of tires.
it feels like we're at the same divergence point car builders were in the mid 50's to mid 60's. the high end custom builds that were mostly static displays vs hot rods, that no matter how nice they were, still got driven...or maybe i'm just FOS
