Help me build a fast 440!
First off...... def not a street or street/strip combo.
Nothing at all exotic.
Decent heads(ported RPM), big SFT cam, high CR(13:1), big headers, big carb(4500).
No trick rings, no vacuum pump.
Runs the very bottom of the 10’s at 131+ @3470lbs.
I’ve made more HP from a stock stroke 440 with less CR and less cam, but with bigger & better flowing heads and intake manifold.
Jim Laroy has done some stock stroke 440’s that made way more power than the one I posted the sheet for.
