The metal ones I've always used worked great. The way I understand to set them up is to get two paint stir sticks and put them under each side of the scraper blade and then drop the feet flat on the ground and tighten the bolts. This way you don't wear the scraper blade down and it will leave a thin layer of snow on the driveway but it'll melt anyway. Am I right with that?
Yea your right but here it don't melt till spring. and most of us have gravel not cement driveways and no sidewalks in my town.
Wheels instead of skid feet work great here but is a home made thing.
