I told him, "this is not something you SELL. This is something you try and give away and hope somebody doesn't charge you very much to haul off"

...and what was his response? lol

I REFUSE to waste time on Facebook, Twitter, etc. Specially after the crap they pulled a while back to quell free speech. I have a life, and I am not going to waste it on social media. Never had one of those accounts and never will.

Now........Pretend the ad said 1971 Duster instead of 1974 Winnebago. His phone would ring off the hook. LOL....Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. (Especially if someone had a mint one and needed a fresh water tank!) Lots of vintage vehicle travellers out there.

Well it's pretty tough to "pretend" when it weights 5 times as much and is 6x as big, won't move and has no title LOL. And you need a semi wrecker with a CDL to tow it

Id pay 300 for that bad boy that would make a badass camper project. I could fix it up and make a cool portable camper.

I think it’s worth 300 you could sell it off as scrap and probably put 700 bucks in pocket. The aluminum alone would double what you pay for it
I buy alot of camper trailers.
You would be lucky to get $100 for the dirty aluminum.
#2 copper (stripped insulatio) maybe total $20
Engine may be able to flip for $300-400
Now dispose of the wood etc.
Trailer frames i usually flip for $300-400.
Likely hood of selling that frame is scrap at $20
So there is a small profit but high labour. I hire my two daughters 12 and 13 year old and pay them $20 to dismantle.

Not worth the gas to haul it home. Scrap is at an all time low. You will never make money scrapping anything out. So far as making a cool car hauler, "no title."

And "we" are assuming the engine runs. Missing transmission, might be fairly likely the engine is "toast"

I sold a 72 winnebago indian with a 413 about 5 months ago for 1200 bucks.
Guy is going to restore it. Decent shape and original motor.
Some people still buy these things and use them.
I know of two others that are used yearly.
Not junk.

413 mopar I believe if you put a 440 crank in that block and find a set of stage 4 heads (good luck with that) you’d have a 426 max wedge engine. Guy down the street

from me had an original 63 Plymouth max wedge car factory stripped out super stock car. Use to hear him tuning it walk down and hang around guess that’s where my love affair with mopars started

Yank the tires off, burn it to the ground. Put the tires back on, pull it on the trailer and off to the yard.....maybe save the engine. They would have to pay me to take it.

Yup lived in a 12x60 mobile home for a number of years. Started to build house made add up put it every where local rag and all advertising it for 500 getting close to moving into house put it for free no bites had to hook up well and septic trailer was in the way guy was here with the hoe got him to dig a 70 ft by 16 ft 5ft deep in back 40 didn’t even put the wheels on it chained it up dragged it into hole and burnt it got pics of me and wife watching it burn toasting it. Problem solved

People are paying many tens of thousands of dollars for those "tiny homes" these days. I have a friend whose son rehabbed an old school bus. Paid five grand for the bus and probably has another 20k in it and isn't done yet. If it was whole and moved, it might be worth something but that one probably isn't.

Would never buy a mobile home again. Told my sons find the property you want build a good size shop put all plumbing and electrical in it and live in it till you can afford to build a house. At least your building equity mobile homes depreciate land and buildings appreciate.

When I first got married I bought a small used 1970 something trailer and we lived in it for 4 years while searching for a forever house. We never found one so in 2009 we bought a brand new single wide. At the time it was extremely nice (still is) but I regret it I wish we would have been more patient and bought or built a house. Iv been paying on this moble home for almost 12 years now and have paid more than its worth now and still owe almost 9 years more. The price tag was 45k by the time its paid off i will have paid around 112k for it and its virtually worthless right now! I maybe able to sell it for 12k or less stupid stupid stupid decision. I let the anticipation of owning a new home get to me. Its a good home and im proud of it iv worked my butt off for it but financially in the long run its a bad decision. These mobile home people take advantage of young middle class people and make it sound like its there only option.

Typical salespeople I'm afraid. Just like a car salesman....lowest of the low and would sell their grandmother to make a sale. I have no time for them. I have to laugh when I see those ads for a new car saying 0% interest for so many years. Guess what... the interest is already added in the price of the car so don't be fooled by that, it's just another sales gimmick. So if you're paying cash for the car do your homework and calculate how much the interest will cost and deduct that off the price of the car.

Someone could live in it down by the river !
My bad neighbor across the street finally moved. We called her Ma Barker because she was a drunk and her boys were worse. Cops at her place twice a month. Anyway, she moves and they haul 3 motorhomes like that one out the back of her yard! Obviously crack shacks as they were beat to hell. I see them parked in a supermarket parking lot 3 days later, abandoned.
