Help me build a fast 440!
Here’s one way to do it......

One of that main things to keep in mind if you’re trying to get into the 550+hp out of a stock stroke 440, and still be able retain a reasonable degree of streetability is......... use heads that are suitable for the task at hand.
Heads that will provide a good balance of flow and velocity.
If the heads are “good”, then there is more latitude to adjust/taylor the combo to suit the application...... and still make decent power if the plans call for something that leans towards the milder side.
