1969 Barracuda Notchback

For sale is my 1969 Barracuda Notchback, B5 Blue with a white vinyl top. The car has its original 318, 2bbl and a 904 column-shift automatic, with the 7 1/4 rear end. It is originally a California car - have registrations from California through 1999 – and well cared for since then. I have had it ten years during which it was always garage kept. The car is rust free and entirely stock except for the aluminum slot wheels which are also vintage. The wheels even have left threaded lugs on the driver’s side (a mopar quirk that I have never understood). The car is 50 years old, and I am selling it without any guarantees. With that said, here is my honest appraisal of its condition. The interior is in great shape, with the exception of a half inch tear in the driver’s seat and a small crack/gap on the steering wheel. The paint is very good, but not show quality. The only things that I know that need attention are 1) the gas gauge does not work (probably the sending unit, but I have not tried a new one), and 2) dash lights are not working. Other than that, the car starts every time, drives and stops as it should, and looks great. I drive the car regularly, but not very much. It has been registered, annually state-inspected and insured throughout my ownership. Mileage showing is about 140K, which I believe is accurate based on records from earlier owners. I have a 68 convertible project that has been neglected too long and have decided to part with this one to make room in the garage (and the bank account) for more tinkering on that one. I am in Hampton, Virginia and asking $12,000.
