I was looking at these head's but can't find much information. Has anyone had good luck making power with these head's. I need a 18 bolt head and there's not much to choose from. I need a head that could work on 59 degree block. Please don't say indy you don't want my opinion on there head's.

No experience with them myself. There are/were a couple of guys that da there head but the exact version I do not remember.

There is also the Edelbrock Victor head which is an extra bolt head.

Not a head i would chase regards making big power. A guy who posted on Moparts had a big inch smallblock with those heads, pretty stout stuff underneath the heads, car was pretty light. Think it ran like 10 flat.
As mentioned, the victor head, W9, or despite what your opinion is, the Indy head. Well capable of low 9’s in a typical bracket A body

Is that W9/59* head still available?
FWIW, correct me if I’m wrong since my pockets are shallow and I don’t keep up much anymore, but the W7 & W8 are not available in a stock 59* lifter angle correct?
I’m pretty sure that’s the case. Anyway...

There are a few guys that listed some cool 59*, W9 head builds at that other site.

Far as I know some are around. Correct about 7/8 stuff.

You do know that Indy has been sold to a Mopar Racing Family in Ohio don’t you? I would choose it over the head you are looking at.

Well you’re in PA.... give Brett Miller a shout. He’d have the scoop on some W9’s.

there was a nice set of Victors for sale that were 59 degree... name slips me at the moment.. Jason Buckner I’m thinking. Brett might have his contact info....

I don't know much about the mopar w heads. What they flow etc.
But I saw a post on Facebook wear Brett Miller got a set of the small block Victor heads flowing 380+ CFM

Edelbrock are not 18 bolt only 10 . They can be made into a 18 bolt head but not easily. I'm going to order a set to see how hard it would be to machine the holes.

Thanks for the input. I should have mentioned that my motor is boosted. W9 are a light casting and don't have w2 exhaust mounts. I have indy 360-2 but after cnc porting only lasted 2 years. Leaking water everywhere. That's what Indy's do. So victor is my only option.

While the Brodix heads dont receive much love around here I would love to be able to try a set in my dirt car.

My issue is trusting my stock 360 block to accept the power levels the MC heads can produce. I have talked to several guys knocking on the 750hp+ door with those heads with the engines having good driveability which is important in my world.

And there are thousands upon thousands of Brodix heads and blocks of all flavors out there and they will repair what breaks, too.

I like the Victor stuff, too but at that price level I would prefer a better rocker arm deal from T&D or Jesel.

be curious to hear who has made 750 horse with them
Are they drag motors? ET’s, weight, etc?

Hold on a second, let me get this straight...

I can't afford those head's , I know brett he is one of the best . I have his intake and he ported my w8 s for my other car . But trying to get my car back together at a reasonable amount bacause, I'm trying to build another car.

Yes he did , but he told me it's lots of work to do 18 bolt.

they flow near that with the cnc they come with.
Guy that does my machine work is the guy who made 773 horse with them on a 360 under 12 to 1 with a dinky duration cam.
He won that engine shootout deal with them, most on here probably read the article.
Heads were pretty much the way he got them for the build.

So tour looking for a custom modified head, correct?

That's good hp. Thanks I'll have to look for the article. Thanks.

Ok I don't know what I'm taking about. I've been on the phone with them all week . But you must know something they don't. The top holes are in the wrong spot . From what I herd. I'm ordering a set to see if I can make them work.
I thought I remembered the upper row head bolt hole mistake for Victor small block heads was mentioned in another thread. Just found it. Check out this link, post 29:
