does anyone know how much wider the 67 and up darts were in the engine bay than the 66 and earlier darts were,thanks....

what are you trying to shoehorn in one?
I believe the figure is 3" total. 1.5" on each side.

Where exactly do you need a measurement?
I actually just went out and measured a couple spots on my 66 and 68 Darts. Believe it or not, the 66 was narrower by only 3/8" as measured between the inside of the front frame rails (measured close to the radiator core support). Also, the inside of the frame rails where they meet the torsion bar cross member was even more eye opening. The 68 was actually narrower by about an inch than my 66.
I'm thinking maybe the shock towers where the big difference in width comes in??
