I disagree, I raced a hemi superstock type belvedere for 14 yrs, and drove a hemi satelite to work , chryslers are tanks compared to what their running against in classes . We had a very hard time getting the belevedere down to nhra weight for the class, it weighed almost 4000 pounds , the class then was 3621 , and back then u couldn`t strip the cars like they do now.----------------the satelite was even heavier.
I have never owned a mopar ,(and I`ve had many) , that was even close to advertised weight .
Look at the new camaros, mustangs and challengers , and see who is the heaviest !!
