Rescue Riggs, R.I.P.- named after John Riggins of football fame, but most always asked if he was named after Riggs the character played by Mel Gibson in Lethal Weapons.

Had a cocker spaniel named Belvedere.

I Think due to the color of that dog you should name it

Spot.

Violet.
Your car is sort of violet, no?

Great dogs on here! I like Duster like was mentioned. Riggs is cool too. John Riggins was my football idol. Washington Redskins then were awesome!
Dad named his spaniel Kuda.

Opal. I name all of my dogs after jewels. Oh wait... I don't have any dogs. Never mind.

Yeah , I saw her set in a chair and file her fingernails , while the crew did all the work -----------------
Bet you don't see John Force tearing down an engine between runs.

Maybe when they first start out they have to wear many hats, but once they get sponerships they can hire help.

Just name her "No" my daughter got a COVID dog and she says NO more then the dogs name.

beautiful dog. You always have that special dog you miss . I have two and they were buddies. The St. Bernard . and a huge Boxador. The st's mane was Goliath and the Boxador was Duke. Goliath was a puppy 1 yr old. When we had to get rid of him I cried my eyes out and then Duke Died soon after.

After Goliath was gone Duke ended up protecting and saving me in my own house. If Goliath would have been here I don't think the man would have lived.

Boy I miss them two.

Yep, Riggs was found wandering around the desert in Nevada as a pup and I got him from an Australian Shepard Rescue. He had cancer and had to put him to sleep last March. I've also had two Dobermans and two Golden Retrievers in the past 40 years all died from cancer. Swore off dogs, it's heart wrenching. June of last year I moved into my farm house and found a two month old puppy near death living (barely) under the deck. Fed her for 2 weeks then off to the vets for shots etc. Named her Grace for obvious reasons. A year later:

Let the kids name it......

It always rough losing them, ain't no doubt. It always good for car guys to talk about their pets amonst other gearheads... With that being said, good on you to push ahead and get another dog so quickly.... It's not for everyone however once the new pup settles in you will probably agree there is a void missing in your life filled once again....

Cheers,
JW
