Well the 2020 race season is over

at least for me it is. Keystone added a couple test n tunes to the schedule and I tried, at least as hard an effort as I apply now a days to get my blue Duster out for a few hits. I am way to spoiled working on my black Duster and this one is a pain in the butt. Heads up class rules require stock firewalls and stock front frames so with a 572 Keith Black B1 headed engine things are tight. I spent hundreds on fittings and lines as every single line needs made up. I can’t even get a flexible transmission checking tube in this car and will have to cut a hatch inside the car and make up a zues removable cover to check fluid level. A remote oil filter mount and lines also are needed. Working on the floor isn’t helping any. After another bad day Monday and parts from Summit delayed an extra day I knew test n tune today would be impossible. And guess what??? It was rained out so my failure to finish it lessoned some. Now I have a few months to finish it. For a coronavirus filled year I was lucky to get lots of racing in but I’m looking for a better 2021 with a fresh power plant in the bracket car. I’ll never push one 5 years again.

Well here's to 2021,
