I have to agree, I am quite perplexed. The order of operations, workout the brackets first = 1.68. I am pretty sure in school I was told that if there is no operation between numbers and brackets (between the 535 and the bracket and between the bracket and the 0.283) then it is multiplied!so I get this: 535 x 1.68 x 0.283 = 254.3604.
