Stop in for a cup of coffee

Hah! I literally have to blue tape with description on the wires as somehow I manage to forget which one is coming from where. I think it is some kind of vertigo inversion problem. When I am standing up fishing them thru the fire wall I can readily identify from whence they come. Then I crawl inside flip over on my back look up under the dash and simply have no recollection of what’s what. And for you eagle eyed ones the wire nuts on the floor are simply there for safety on the ends of pulled wire for extra future applications. No wire nut connections under dash!
The man lift i repaired on friday is full of wire nuts (marrettes)
As his buddy is an “electchicken”
Wrong place for them imho.
seems guy thinks adding grounds will improve a intermittent switch.

I used some of this yesterday the reg one though, really like the applicator instead of the tubes. Needed it to seal the flange on the heater element for the parts cleaner. Man if you have a parts cleaner put a heater in it works so much better. Not with solvent thought water based.

I find the quick set isnt as tough as the long cure time stuff.

Guess i should bust a move, get with the program and go to shop.

I like to solder if I can but a good connector and a quality crimper works pretty good. I need to get some butt connectors with the built in sealer and heat shrink. I used a butt , heat shrink, and tape when I fixed my anti lock wiring the other day. It should work for a long time.

I tag the wires with masking tape and marker so I know where they go once I figure them out...

You just squeeze it out of the tube and don't have to mix it anymore????

Still have to mix it but comes our easily in the right amount. Those tubes usually are a PIA once you reuse them. Was going to use panel bond but the dam applicator tips I only have two right now and no idea how it would stand up to heat (160F)

It's Smoky Sunday!

Good norning :D

Hey @krazykuda I just logged onto the Over budget 318 build thread. I see a few guys there that can lead it astray with their opinions. We will see what happens there. 2 or 3 particular guys in the same thread often doesn't end well. If you know what I mean.
:drama:

Just another day in pairofdice here today, 69° with light winz. Get some stuff done to make ready for the trip to the maternal unit's place for Thanksgiving. I have to be off the streets by 10PM, we have a curfew now :realcrazy:. Not to self ... Self, over indulge in adult beverages earlier in the day to avoid the covid curfew
