I've been pricing a new convertible top for my '66 Valiant Signet. I see here that many people have bought one from Legendary, but, I don't see any feedback from the ones from Layson's. Anyone install one of theirs? They list two different ones, and they're both a lot pricier than Legendary.....over twice as much on the better quality one. I'm looking for one like what the original one looked like. Any suggestions or feedback (either good or bad) on who to go with or who to avoid?

I have a Electron top on my 67 dart. I had them reuse my OEM rear glass, and there were some issues because of that. ( Next time I would send my OEM top so the could make it correctly)

I believe if I used their glass it would not have been an issue.

The fit seems good, the material is spot on, their cables were useless - one pulled out on instillation, ended up using the OEM ones.

They did do an odd thing where the rear most bow is. Rather than it being one piece they used 2 pieces that then overlap on the bow and then the strip cover covers that.

You can see in the photo where the top opening was too big compared to the glass, they remade the top and sent it out free, I ended up paying more for installation due to their mistake.

You can see the overlap of material., OEM is one solid piece over the bow.

I've always thought Jayne Mansfield's top was really nice.

Robbins is the best on the market. Kee is ok. We will have a couple to buy in the relatively near future...
