Looks like it’s bolted through the front to me.Before you roll that motor over you might want to put the bottom passenger side bolt in that looks like it is missing.

I saw one of those at Summit. At $250, doesn’t seem like a bad investment to get the geared rotating assembly. I like hard work as much as anyone here, but I think I’d prefer a controlled rotation when dealing with 700lbs of expensive parts.I retired a couple years ago. I wonder if I ever paid myself for this one?

It will spin over a 460 Ford like nothing. Very handy when building the short block and you can stop it anywhere in the rotation.I saw one of those at Summit. You need to go to the next aisle over in Harbor Freight where they sell the good engine stands. That is where I picked up this Mopar big block only engine stand.
