I dug this out for a member but I think it's for a slant 6. (evenly spaced crank bolt holes) The number isn't in the Galen Book. (not high performance enough I guess) It may have came from a pick up with O/D from what I saw on another FABO thread. What bellhousing would you need to use it in a car? Just curious and spit-balling here.

A 10.5 is going to have 130 teeth, not 122. I think this is a truck flywheel. Low starter.
Not the one on ebay.

@toolmanmike,
I have two complete A833OD setups from crank to driveshaft. One I just pulled for a rebuild in my 82 D150, the other reportedly is from an F body but that one came from everyone's least favorite forum member so anything he told me when he sold it to me is highly suspect. However, your part number of 2128290 matches the one out of my D150. The supposed F body one is 3878965. They measure the same, so I'm guessing they are interchangeable. The clutch out of the D150 is a 10" and I don't see how anything bigger will work. The pressure plate holes are only about 10-5/8" CTC, kind of negating anything bigger. I agree, your flywheel is for a slant. I forgot to check bellhousings, but I have both of them. I'll lay them out side by side tomorrow and let you know if they will interchange. I took photos of all this crap but I did it on the phone and it's not playing nice to post here. I'll give it another go in the morning.

Thank you very much for the info.

The crankshaft holes are not evenly spaced. It's for the 4 speed OD in A/F bodies and trucks.

Interesting, my dodge D 100 has an 11inch 143 tooth flywheel and all the ones I have out of cars have the 9.5 122 tooth flywheels.

I never thougt of a combo with the 10.5 so I'm guessing it was a 2WD truck

If it's a SL6 flywheel and 130 teeth I agree with others that it's out of a truck that had the granny gear four speed behind the slant as others have stated. I've never seen a SL6 OD with anything other than a 122 tooth flywheel regardless of the body/year it was installed in. And every V8 OD vehicle I've ever seen had the 130 tooth flywheel installed. As another poster suggested there are a few 143 tooth SL6 flywheels that were delivered as upgrades in trucks with the NP435 granny gear 4 spd. trans. I run the 143 tooth/11" clutch in my 170 CID drag car as the increased mass helps keep the RPM's up when I launch on slicks. When first put together it had an 8lb. aluminum flywheel and would bog/nose over big time when launched on the slicks.

Interesting, I was told that the bell housing would not fit my '65 Dart without a lot of hacking and bashing. And what transmission are you using? An A833 doesn't easily bolt on. The bottom bolt holes are below the bell housing inspection plate.

I don't think there is any car bellhousing that will hold that flywheel. I have a 130 tooth flywheel behind my Slant but it has a QuickTime bellhousing, which will hold a 'big' flywheel.

@kesteb - I used a big block scattershield, like Hyperpak did on his recently completed Lancer wagon. I agree with those who told you that putting the heavy cast iron truck bell housing in your Dart for the 143 tooth flywheel would require a lot of metal work. That thing is a beast both in size and weight.

@gregcon - if your referring to the 143 tooth flywheel the only passenger car bell housings for it were big block passenger car, typically 440 6Pack or Hemi but I think optional on other big blocks.

I'm not, I'm referring to the 10.5" clutch, 130 tooth flywheel as used in things like your average 340-4 speed car 0r 318- 3 speed car

My 6pak RR has the 130 tooth flywheel, which is correct for the aluminum bellhousing and the 10.950” clutch. With the Centerforce clutch and no over center spring, it shifts like a breeze.

The 130 tooth flywheel can hold an 11: clutch if you desire....though I think there are more/better choices in the 10.5" size, at least for what I wanted.

The trans? I've posted that here before....it's a 904 clutchflite.
