Going through a hodgepodge bucket of screws, bolts, nuts, washers, and brackets today. I wonder what these hexagon shaped washers pertain to. They are metal, black, and appear to be brass colored underneath the black. For some reason, I want to say they pertain to old school Mopar radio knobs. Anyone know for sure? Thank you.

Are they not threaded inside? If so, then they look like the nuts that tighten the switch and tuner onto the radio housing shell. On the other hand, I could be 99.9% 'off-base'.

No threads. Those threaded nut/washers are usually chrome I believe.

P.S. Edit: I put on my glasses and found some direct sunlight, they do have threads inside!

Uh huh. So I am 'off-base'. I am now curious as to what my identical (but threaded) 'nuts' are indeed for. :(

Those don't look like the nuts that hold the radio onto the Dash frame - they are pretty thin between the threaded hole and the exterior hex or they would show behind the Knobs. and yes they are silver

Are they the hood bumper lock nuts? Radio bezel nuts are super thin wall.
