For those of you running Rancho shocks with relocated springs, what model Rancho shock are you running? I see there are several that may work (999113, 999114, 999116, & 999118). Thank you!

I believe L1 is correct for both ends. But the extended and compressed length is chosen based on your ride height. There is a #, something like 2/3 of the range, that the shock should be at with the car on the ground. I'm at work and I don't recall off-hand which I have on my Dart with a 3/4" offset kit.

Yeah, I'm really interested in what ends are preferred. It says the L1 ends are 5/8" ID, but the top and bottom mounting studs on the car are 11/16". Will the 5/8" ends install on the 11/16" studs?

It's been many years since I put the Ranchos on my Dart. It was a tight fit butI don't recall having any issues. Seems like that 1/16" would cause a problem because of how hard the bushings are. Not sure when I'll be up at where my Dart is stored at to do some checking, including part #'s.

i have a 70 duster with 1'' offset ss springs and rancho shocks i will get some pics for you and the shock number they seem to work and hook up fairly well .

Thanks guys. I appreciate it. The Calvert rear shocks have the L2 ends (11/16" ID x 1-9/16" long) according to their tech line. I may just go that route, though the 999116's would be ideal for me according to their compression/extension numbers. Too bad those 999116's have the L1 ends (5/8" ID x 1-5/16" long).

Just adding this to the thread it has been a few years.
I used Rancho RS999116 shocks.
I do remember drilling out the one bushing (poly) but I tried the other shock and it went on fairly easy without drilling.

So i think with a bit of soap it will slip on easily

Measure the distance between your shock mounts and pick the one that fits the best. Or do what I did and modify the shock plates so the shocks fit perfectly. I built my own shock plates so I could use a bolt thru the shock rather than have the shock mount on a stud. That makes it much stronger and easier to remove or replace.

The length is not the issue. My question is more on the Rancho bushings. The upper mount stud is 11/16", but only the 999114 has an 11/16" bushing. The others are 5/8" ID and narrower. Sounds like some have simply reamed out the urethane bushing on those to fit. The Calvert shocks you've got have the appropriate 11/16" ID bushing.
