Interesting car, as I recall, it was parked intact following the cross country race eons ago. One of the more interesting things to see in Reno, The National Automobile Museum has a portion of the old Harrah's Casino Car Collection including a few Mopars.

Another one of my favorite museums for early race enthusiasts is on the east coast, Ormond Beach the "Birthplace of Speed."

They didn't mention Professor Fate... :(

First car to go coast to coast was a 1903 Winton Touring. Two men and a dog made that first journey. Winton Touring Car, 1903

I watched a documentary on their 63 day on the History Channel (I think) a few years ago. It concluded with the family taking the original owner to the museum see “his” car.

As he told his story to his family, and anyone that would listen, he went under the rope and got in the car for photos - the folks at the museum went nuts...until it was explained it had been his car and he drove it on that first cross country journey.

At that point, he was royalty. Lots of photos were taken and stories were recorded. It was a great documentary.
