longtime announcer at Norwalk Raceway Park passed away from a suspected heart attack today. He also announced and many tracks over the years at big events. He usually made 4-5 trips a year to keystone my home track but I’ve seen him for years at Norwalk and would make my trip to the tower to visit each time I was there. He always called me “Daddy Caddy”. He didn’t care if you ran 18’s or 7’s he had something good to say while you were making a pass. He loved telling jokes and lived for token joke day at the Halloween Classic. I’ll miss you buddy.

May he RIP. He looked like a cool old dude for sure. A lot of people are gone way too soon it seems.

Skeeter, great guy. He will be missed. He made the token joke day at the classic all the more fun! Great sense of humor.

Norwalk is my favorite track, Best on the East side of the States I think and now part of its missing.

Hello All,
My condolences to all of his family and friends.
Along with the physical loss of someone in his position there also goes a wealth of knowledge of racing in general.
As I have attended in person and watch motorsports events in media over the years it always amazes me the vast amount of history and information that a host, commentator, or announcer contributes to the event.
In these troubled times take a moment to listen and retain some of there words as we never know when there microphone will fall silent...
RIP, May your win light shine bright...
Stay safe..
Happy Mopar :)
Arron.

Sorry for his passing. Glad you and everyone got to know such a awesome and amazing person.

My old buddy Lynnn Robbins passed last week. Had a cool vintage '57 Ford. Drove for the same outfit as me.

RIP.
