"V8'ing" a Slant K member

Now that Schumaker mounts just might be a thing of the past, and K members are getting more scarce by the day, how about some ideas on modding slant K members to "become" a V8 member? With my broke ribs and winter, this won't be happenin at my house immediately. "What I was thinkin"

I think I have a slant 73/ later K here
I KNOW I have a 73/ later V8 K.

I'm thinkin maybe rig/ weld up some scrap for a "fixture" (jig) to locate in some established holes, maybe the 4 frame holes to locate the jig, and the jig in turn would have pilot bolts, etc, to locate the engine mount ears "where they should be" for a V8 conversion using stock V8 spool mounts.
