Howdy all. Just checking in. We got some work done on the 67 today but also found problems.View attachment 1715635843 he figured out how to get it done while chilling out.
View attachment 1715635844 knocked the heavy stuff off, nuetralized the rust and got it coated with semi-gloss rustoleum

The problem. The shackles aint supposed to be at that angle. Maybe A body springs on a B body?
Stick a big pry bar between the top of the spring and the frame rail and invert the shackle the other direction.

Since they already told us at work that were getting a week off for Christmas. I'm going to start collecting everything I need to rebuild the front end. It needs an alignment so might as well take care of it all.

For that money get a hopped up small block, way less hassle. @Johnny Mac makes great drop in engines. And no our accessories mounts are totally different, so are the exhaust, trans, linkage etc. Lots of $$
