Stop in for a cup of coffee

Can be done, but it's not drop-in.. Different trans, maybe oil pan, all new accessory brackets.. Pretty spendy..
Kind of an all or nothing sort of thing.
I put a 400 into a ‘59 regent,it was a 5 week project. Had a donor vehicle, which made it do-able. Motor, transmission and rear end from a 70’s pickup. i should have kept it for myself.

try to find one. The Warlocks and LIL Reds had them also.
There was one in Lebanon a couple weeks ago but it was in rough shape. It was on Market place and Max was considering it. I have a bell housing and clutch and fly wheel. Even that stuff is pricy and I will never need it now

There was a guy on then truck site was looking for RB mount brackets for a long time.

I was considering that 383 because its ready to run. The 440s I've found are in ok shape but I figure if I went with a 440 I might as well just pull my 360 and have it rebuilt.

With that being said if I pulled the 360 what would be the best thing I could have done to it? Port and polish the heads and higher compression pistons, right?

Seriously look at the crate engines. Prob work out better and less $ also. Blue print engines is a sponsor here look at their site to get ideas.

For that money get a hopped up small block, way less hassle. @Johnny Mac makes great drop in engines. And no our accessories mounts are totally different, so are the exhaust, trans, linkage etc. Lots of $$
3rd Gen hemi... same bell housing, can use the original trans if you wanted. They sell a bracket to attach the kickdown linkage now. Only thing you’d have to figure out would be motor mounts.

I have a decently built 408. With iron heads. The heads for small blocks suck. Period. What I would do is find a 3rd Gen hemi, you can buying a running car or truck with a hemi for less than 3k, swap everything over to the d150. The only thing you’d have to do special would be the motor mounts that way.

I did a 440 in my dart, if I was going to do it again I would LA it.
I wouldn’t. Everyone takes the easy way out..

So OMR would like to wish everyone a merry Homer Christmas!
