I am looking to borrow or buy a good single or used 273 Commando piston.

my machine shop may need it as I’m getting possibly custom pistons for a 273 Commando motor I am having them build.
They need one for measurements to have custom pistons built for my engine. My current pistons are 273 2bbl 4 brow low compression pistons somebody threw in there so they are no good. let me know.

273's have always been raced. Most Piston companies have the dimensions. However, I can get you dimensions if you want.

That would be awesome.
Thank you. The machine shop Said their piston fabricator will machine up forged pistons with custom ring spacing and but owner was not sure if they had the dimensions or not. I said I’d ask.

Damn, I bet the machine shop tossed mine. I don't remember getting them back. The EGGE pistons look the same but without measuring and comparing, who's to know.

Thanks Toolmanmike.

I’m shootings for a 300+hp 273 and in an effort to gain HP they want to design a piston (if one is not available already) with custom ring gaps and 1/2 as much tension on the rings as a street car would normally have. Squaring up the cylinder and head alignment. Proper cylinder bore 0.040”
Bowl and port work on the heads and lightning of all rotating parts to get me there. It’s going to be fun!

The Egge L2222's I pictured above are copies of the originals but like I mentioned I don't know how exact they are without measuring. It shouldn't take much to get to 300 horse. Here's my heads. Just a little touch up here and there! LOL
