Well the 2020 race season is over

Like the “can’t leave well enough alone “!

For me, this is the most exciting part of racing. Since I know very little everything is new and changes come around quickly, some good, some not so good:p

I understand where Jpar is coming from as in other forms of racing you do lap after lap and get multiple chances to make changes in one session. When I was racing motorcycles and karts a typical weekend would look like this.

Friday, two or three 20 minute practice sessions.

Saturday, morning two or three 20 minute practice sessions, afternoon two 15 minute qualifying sessions.

Sunday, morning two 20 minute practice sessions, afternoon, 10-20 lap race depending on the track length.

Raced at Willow Springs and Fontana mostly so in the summertime you would normally be doing all that in 100+ degree temps. Racing bikes had the added enjoyment of wearing racing leathers!

It’s all fun, I just need to be more focused now since I don’t get as many “chances”.
