I just had a bowl of Raisin Bran this evening. For lunch I had a Popeye''s spicy chix sammich and a Dr pepper.
 
Pork chops collard greens corn and potatoe salad is what I had tonight. It was pretty darn good
 
My wife put some weird TV dinner in my lunch. After I ate it, I went to the hospital cafeteria and bought a personal pizza. Now, THAT hit the spot.

Excellent! ~ I meant the jack and coke part, not the last part. :icon_fU:

I will be having beef in a carbohydrate-type vessel as well...though not a very common cut.

Taco meat, chopped tomatoes, lettuce, shredded cheese, Guacamole and salsa on pan fried tortilla quarters. We had everything for tacos but the tortillas were dried out and cracking so she just quartered them and fried them up for the base. Never left-overs on taco night. Last night was pan fried pork chops and egg noodles.

You gots'ta member, dearheart, it ain't even barely dinnertime yet, here. N end of Idaho, it's 12:45PM. I probably won't eat, today, till 2PM, anyhow.

And, I turned off the alarm, and slept til 7AM today. Breakfast was some frozen blueberrys, a banana, piece of toast, cold hb egg, and some orange juice. Time to go irradiate the tea mug with 2.45ghz electromagnetic non ionizing energy
 
Dinner's a ways off yet, but I'm working on the afternoon snacks. Breakfast was homemade bacon, scrambles, and English muffins washed down with coffee and a touch of Jack, along with a Bloody Mary for dessert. Snacks are bacon-chive-cheese balls on mini-pretzels, with some most excellent beer. And after resting up a bit we'll dive into dinner!
 
For me, lots of my neighbors have been treating me well, looking out for me, them knowing i will be in the hospital, Monday morning for heart surgery.
One my walk around the hood, this morning, one gave me a pumpkin pie, with a tub of whipped cream.
Another brought over a plate of homemade muffins on it.
And a bachelor guy, like me, that lives alone, brought over a big plate of turkey, stuffing, potatoes, that became my plate full, of eatings, this Thanksgiving.
